Thrifty Thursday #27

Thank you so much for linking up for Thrifty Thursday last week, we learn so much from all of you! Jenn from The Purposeful Mom, and I co-host this link-up. We are gearing up to cover some frugal topics starting next week!

Some favorites from last week:

If you want a seriously delicious and good for you afternoon pick-up smoothie, try this Fruit Drink: Power Nutrition in a Cup, from Jenni at Mom Essentials. It can be made with several combinations of veggies and fruits, saving you money by letting you use what you already have at home.

Jacqueline from Deep Roots at Home shows us how to make elderberry cough syrup and tincture from her elderberry bush! We order elderberry syrup but it would be much more cost-effective to make it yourself.
