Hello dear friends. The children and I made it up safely to Missouri on Monday after a crazy weekend filled with packing, good-byes and more packing.
We sure are going to miss the South, and the many dear friends we have made there!
Lord willing, we are closing on our new home tomorrow, and then we’ll be busy painting, cleaning and unpacking. Thanks for your patience with me during this crazily busy and exciting time!
And thanks for joining Jenn, from the Purposeful Mom, and me for our 23rd Thrifty Thursday.
Brown Thumb Mama shared a great post on preparing an emergency folder. Just in case your neighbor burns down his house, you know!
Heather, from Healthy Family Cookin‘, shared an insightful post on the hidden costs of stuff. Another great reason to embrace simplicity!
Have fruit flies attacked your kitchen? Dawn, from Small Footprint Family, shared great ways to control them naturally and thriftily.
