Vintage Handmade Soaps: Review & Giveaway

Handmade soap have always held a lovely charm to me. I even tried making my own handmade soap.

Once.

It was an utter failure. My bricks of soap were covered in hard, white residue. My hands turned a fiery red when I washed my hands with them.

Sometimes, when you try and fail, you should try again. Sometimes, you should leave it to the experts.

I decided to leave making handmade soap to the experts.

Chocolate Mint Soap

Vintage Handmade Soaps are soft, luxurious and made from natural ingredients that soothe your skin. My friend Heather, from Raising Mighty Arrows, carefully crafts each batch from her home and is always coming up with delightful new scents.

Bama Pride and Tiger Fever? What better way to get football-loving, Southerners to buy handmade soaps? Check out her other non-football-themed scents here!

I first tried Heather’s soap this Christmas. Chocolate is this girl’s all-time favorite and when Heather said she had made a chocolate soap, I knew that’s what I wanted for Christmas.

[Major request, huh. Our gift budget was minimal while we were paying off our loans. Being debt-free is one of the best presents you can give yourself!]

Anyway, I loved my Christmas soap. Not only does the soap smell delightful, it leaves my hands feeling clean and silky! Plus, the bars are generously-sized… I am still enjoying mine!

Heather frequently runs sales, so be sure to follow Vintage Handmade Soaps on Facebook or Twitter to receive special coupons and sales updates.

I really love her soaps, not just for my hands but for my face as well. And the smells are delightful. I almost wanted to eat the peppermint one. 🙂

🙂 — it’s pretty delicious smelling! I honestly didn’t even think about using it on my face. Usually I just use water—but this is gentle enough I’m going to try it!
